Ayurvedic massage and treatments are based on Eastern Indian practices that promote wellness by working with the three primary doshas - vata, pitta and kapha.
Everyone is born into a particular dosha. Ill health, stress or dis-ease begins when one dosha is out, or remains out of balance, with the other doshas and needs to be toned or promoted.
Based on physical structure, skin type, appearance, etc., we can ascertain your primary dosha. We evaluate your present health situation to see if all doshas are in balance. Depending upon the assessment, we choose a treatment to apply during your massage that will promote wellness.
All applications are made from natural products. We need to be made aware of your allergies and possible skin sensitivities. Each application process is different and is determined by the sense of wellness we are trying to promote through the session. We do ask that you set aside at least an hour for your session.
In 2011, we began offering the most popular of the Ayurvedic treatments. Over the years, our clients have preferred these three treatments to balance their current state of health or dosha.

Dry Powder Massage
This doesn't’ sound like a comfortable massage, but it is. The light powder and gentle friction used in this massage cause the skin to relax and excessive moisture to be absorbed. This increases the energy level, reduces lethargic energy patterns
