We have named our spa "Ataraxia". Ancient Greek culture believed "Ataraxia" was the calm that came from or the calm that followed total confusion. We enjoy creating for you the calm that this ancient civilization knew.
In 2011, we combined the most requested spa packages into two fantastic sessions. Each session offers you the chance to experience total relaxation, harmony and to restore a sense of balance in your life. Our purpose is to make your time in Ataraxia enjoyable, comfortable, relaxing and also rejuvenating.
Focusing our attention on two spa packages only, has allowed us to give more attention to the healing techniques and applications used throughout the session. We know you will find these sessions to be beyond compare. It is our intention to promote a finer sense of relaxation and wellness for you.

Serenity
The type of aromatherapy to be used has been considered for days. The room has been prepared well in advance. This is your time to heal.
The massage session is designed to use various modalities for relaxation and to promote wellness. Time is given to each area of the body to release tension and the ill-effects of stress.
A foot scrub is applied and wrapped in warm towel compresses. Exfoliating dry and callused areas prepare the feet for peppermint foot reflexology. Particular attention is given to chi sensory and adrenal releases.
Neck and shoulder releases are carefully lengthened with lavender or lemongrass applications. The scalp, occipital and skull are skillfully released through cranio-sacral techniques.
Collagen mask and facial reflexology help soothe fine lines and release tension from the facial area. A toning mist and hydrating application are applied for the facial massage.
Serenity is achieved, Chaos dissolves.

Timeless
It's as if time stands still. You get lost as balance is brought back to the body and mind.
Your choice of body polish application is prepared. Milk and honey or liquid salt exfoliates the skin. An amino-based gel is applied to enhance the hydrating properties of this session.
Essential oil formulas are personalized to your current state of wellness or dis-ease. Your massage application will be used with several techniques to promote a sense of well-being.
Lymphatic response is enhanced through areas of restricting congestion with our GX-99. Circulation of lymph and blood allow the body to quickly restore its' own natural healing properties.
An anti-aging facial mask is applied to erase fine lines and restore a more youthful appearance. Particular attention is given to the neck, shoulders, arms and hands while the mask is curing.
Face reflexology and scalp massage take away any remaining thoughts of tension or stress.

Couples Massage
We do offer Couples Massage in our Spa. Warm foot compresses, Swedish massage and cranio-sacral techniques restore relaxation and promote a sense of wellness

Treatment descriptions
Aromatic body steam
Gentle spray of steam infusion with essential oils to open pores for maximum product absorption.
Body polish
Removal of surface debris with gentle exfoliates. The skin is renewed and easily absorbs the nutrients provided in the products.
Foot reflexology
Massage that relaxes and clears using moderate compression along the sole, top and sides of the foot.
Herbal body wrap
Compression bandages are prepared and applied to the body. Egyptian linen is used as a total body wrap. While the clients rests, the herbal mix pulls toxins from body. Gentle massage encourages total detoxification.
Milk and honey body polish
This spa application of honey wax and milk redefines the skin. Surface debris is removed, pores are cleared and the skin is hydrated. The skin is smooth, supple and relaxed.
Cancellation Policy - Please notify with 48 hours should you need to cancel your appointment of re-schedule to avoid a 50% charge for the service. Full service fee will be charged if notification is not given and appointment is not kept.
